Christine was born in Herbert, Saskatchewan and was raised on the prairies.  Following a rewarding career in nursing education, she has had time to enjoy the prairies and has been inspired to take classes and paint again.  She has participated in many art classes from various artists at the University of Regina Seniors’ Centre studying with Christine Lynn, Mary Ann Dubais, Martha Cole, Beth Gaffney and Jennifer McRorie.   She has participated in many workshops, including classes from Glenda Beaver, AB, Michael Lonechild, Lydia Greter, Anne Packham, Ann Hunter and Gloria Miekle, Yuma.  Her main interests are in painting flowers and landscapes in watercolour and acrylic.  Christine has had her art displayed at the Prairie Artists Guild shows, in the Joe Moran Gallery, the Art Gallery of Regina , The Allan Blair Memorial Clinic, the Allied Health Centre, the Downtown Artists’ Walk, and ‘Artists Interpret the Downtown’ presented by the Regina Society of Architects as well as in Yuma Foothills, Arizona, and Weslaco, Texas.  Her artwork has been included for three separate years in the Conexus Art Calendars.  Her paintings are found in private and corporate collections throughout North America and in Norway.
